Course Objective

The goal is to ensure that the student gains knowledge about the fundamental methodological and procedural issues in the field of Islamic Sectarian History. Additionally, it aims to equip students with the technical and methodological skills that adhere to scientific standards in their research.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge of methodological approaches and proposals on the history of Islamic sects.
2   Recognize the sources of ecology and have knowledge about the problems in the sources
3   Have knowledge about the methodological problems of the History of Islamic Sects.
4   To have knowledge about the techniques in scientific articles and other subjects.
5   Have sufficient knowledge about conducting scientific research.
6   To have knowledge about the classical and modern methods used in the History of Islamic Sects

Assessment Criteria

In the midterm and final exams, students are asked classical questions about the sources related to the History of Islamic Sects and their salient features and are asked to answer them.
The success of the students is evaluated by midterm and final exams and their performance in the course.
