Course Objective

To present a critical and analitical perspective about political socialisation and mass movements.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To form a conceptual framework about social movements.
2   To have information about emerging periods on social movements and determinings about this periods.
3   To have information about the actors of social movements and the methods.
4   To present some country cases which can be samples about social movements.
5   As a output of the works have done, to give a critical and analytical perspective related with lessons subjects.

4 1970 s and post-1970 s in social movement theories. Resource Mobilisation Theory and Political Process Approach, New Social Movement Approach.
5 New movements and interpretations in social movement theories..
6 The actors of social movements.
7 Action Repertoires of Social Movements
8 Circles of social movements and the diffusion of social movements.
9 Within the framework of emerging periods of social movements and their diffusions, to analyse Tunusia, Egypt and other North African experiences.
