Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to understand the basic concepts of congress and meeting management; to classify different meeting types; analyze current developments in meeting sector in national and national levels. Students are expected to acquire competencies and skills regarding design, planning, management, application and evaluation of events by utilizing theoretical knowledge. |

Assessment Criteria |
Students need to organise an academic event during the term. Event should be organised as a team and each student should take active role in organisation. Event should follow all procedures and phases that any professional event should embrace. Students are responsible for planning, organising, financing and managing the event with all of its strengths and weaknesses. They are also responsible for the event's crisis management and should work on alternative scenarios in case of last minute changes and crises. The evaluation of the event should be presented as a report at the end of the term. |
