Course Objective |
The course will include enzyme production methods and characteristic features of certain enzymes by discussing enzymes which are of commercial significance in bioconversion processes, fuels, chemical raw materials, pulp and paper, waste processes and degradation, food processing following basic properties of enzymes. In addition, some specific alkali and thermostabile enzymes will be discussed. |

Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term, final and resit exams, homework an presentations. |
