Course Objective

Basic characteristics of Turkish flora and physical properties such that affect fitodiversity in different habitats and typical plants, endemism and endemic species, phytogeographical regions of our country (Euro - Siberian, Mediterranean, Iran - Turan) and the teaching of the characteristic plant species.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the basic properties of Flora of Türkiye.
2   Explain the physical factors that affect fitodiversity.
3   Give examples of different habitat types.
4   Describe a comparative phytogeographic places.
5   Knows the concept of endemism.
6   Give examples of endemic species.
7   Belonging to different phytogeographic regions of Türkiye, the main type of occupancy, and examples of these regions knows.
