Health communication discipline that brings together social sciences and health sciences
multi-faceted understanding and critical thinking about health communication issues.

1   Will be able to define the structure and basic features of the communication process.
2   Will be able to define the basic features of verbal and nonverbal communication.
3   Will be able to demonstrate effective speaking and listening skills.
4   Will be able to explain the importance of empathy in communication.
5   Will be able to communicate effectively with patients and their relatives.
