Course Objective

The aim is to provide undergraduate students with the skills of the types of addictions frequently encountered in childhood, the etiology and epidemiology of addictions, addiction prevention, and nursing approaches to addiction treatment and prevention.

2   Being able to explain alcohol addiction and nursing approaches
3   Being able to define technology addiction and nursing approaches in children
4   Being able to understand substance addiction in children and nursing approaches
5   Understanding food addiction in children and nursing approaches
6   Understanding the importance of life skills in preventing addiction in children
7   Be able to define and discuss the role of the nurse in addiction prevention studies.

The success grade will be determined by taking 50% of the midterm grade and 50% of the project presentation, which will replace the final grade, in determining the semester calculations in the Evaluation of the Course.
