Course Objective |
Nowadays, the concept of sustainability has gained importance in the construction process of buildings in order to prevent increasing environmental pollution and to ensure the conservation of energy resources. In addition to having sufficient mechanical performance, building materials are expected to be materials that do not harm the environment and human health and can meet the necessary sustainability criteria. In this context, emphasis will be placed on building materials that minimize energy consumption in the production and use stages, and that do not have harmful effects on the environment and human health from the waste that may arise during the raw material production, processing, use, maintenance and repair stages. |
