Course Objective

This course aims to provide students an understanding of various ergonomic assessment techniques and how these assessments can be used for reducing the potential for accidents, injury and ill health, improving performance and productivity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Ability to ensure that the work and the work environment are compatible with human
2   2. Being able to define how the expectations from the worker while performing a task can be evaluated from an ergonomics perspective.
3   3. Ability to set continuous performance limits in static and dynamic works
4   4. Ability to establish the relationship between heart rate and continuous performance limit
5   5. Ability to calculate ergonomic risk factors of the work environment
6   6. Ability to make ergonomic analyzes and reports through teamwork
