Course Objective

The course aims to provide students a complete knowledge of Türkiye in terms of its geographical and historical places that play an important role in tourism industry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   List the geographical regions, cities and historical places of Türkiye in order to be able to identify tour preparation process and basic tour routes.
2   Recall the three major geographical components of tourism to be able to explain the push and pull factors.
3   List the different forms of tourism activities that take place in Türkiye to be able to understand the tourist profile of the country.
