Course Objective

It aims to uncover and analyze the nature of the relationships between religion and politics, ideology and the state, as well as the relationship between jurists and rulers throughout Islamic history. It also seeks to analyze the scholars' perspectives on politics and state governance, along with their fundamental ideas.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can comprehend the basic concepts about relationships between religion and politics.
2   Students will learn about the basic approaches of Qoran and Sunnah to politics, and Islamic political system in the Middle ages
3   It reveals the perspective of religion on politics.
4   Students will learn about models of religion and state relations in the contemporary societies
5   They learn about the political thought of Muslim thinkers.
