Course Objective

The aim is to provide an understanding of the place, influence, and significance of Batinism within Islamic thought, which has been influential in human thought throughout history.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They understand that the original source of Batinism lies in non-Islamic elements.
2   They grasp the place of Batinism within Islamic thought.
3   They learn how Batinist thought interprets sacred texts by using example passages.
