Course Objective

The aim is to evaluate the fashion, trend and periodical characteristics of portrait sculpture, its development and dating criteria between the 5th century BC and the end of the Roman Empire. In particular, to learn the repertoire of portrait types, emperors, close relatives of the emperor and portraits of rulers. To examine the dating criteria.
