Course Objective

Directing the student to library research on the subject of the course. To explain the emergence and development stages of the art of sculpture. To explain the material, technical and workmanship features in the art of sculpture. To explain the detailed terminology related to the art of sculpture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the chronology of the art of depiction in human history.
2   To be able to distinguish the sculpture works of different civilizations.
3   To be able to understand scientific research and evaluation methods related to the subject of sculpture.
4   To be able to use the terminology of sculpture.
5   To be able to define the sculpture tradition in Anatolia.
