Course Objective

The main purpose of neurolinguistics is to examine and understand the neurological foundations of language and speech, the relationship between language and brain, and language and speech disorders that occur as a result of brain damage.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To have knowledge about the anatomical features of the human brain
2   2. Having comprehensive knowledge about localization of language in the brain
3   3. Learning the studies on the language system affected by brain injury
4   4. Obtaining information on diseases that affect the functioning of the language system
5   5. Obtaining information on disorders affecting the functioning of the language system
