Course Objective

To reveal the effects of past daily development of biology course teaching programs on human life and teaching systems.
The meaning of learning and teaching biology; The purpose and basic principles of biology teaching; biology history of teaching; reflections of learning and teaching approaches on biology teaching; biology basic skills in teaching; in-class application examples; Current trends in biology teaching and problems; Components of effective biology teaching; social, cultural and economic contributions to biology teaching
perspective.

Attendence rule is 70% for the lectures and %80 for the laboratory section
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
