Course Objective

The purpose of this block is to define the diseases of the skin and the structures of the movement system, to provide understanding of the factors and characteristics, to discuss the clinical, laboratory, social characteristics and pathogenesis of the diseases and the pharmacological properties of the drugs used in treatment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to describe skin rashes and explain their formation mechanisms
2   To be able to describe the etiopathogenesis of basic dermatological diseases, to explain the basic principles of diagnosis and treatment
3   To be able to discuss the pharmacology of drugs used in skin diseases
4   To be able to explain taking dermatological history and performing physical examination
5   To be able to explain the etiopathogenesis of basic musculoskeletal diseases, to explain the basic principles of diagnosis and treatment
6   To be able to discuss the pharmacology of drugs related to the musculoskeletal system
7   To be able to communicate properly in situations that require special approaches such as disability
8   To be able to distinguish the ethical approach to legal regulations related to occupational health, occupational accidents and diseases.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Yearly achievement grade (YAG) is calculated over 100, consisting of 80% of the average of the student achievement evaluations and 10% of the problem-based learning grade averages and 10% of the Special study module grade.

Assessment Criteria

In all semesters, success grades are evaluated over 100 (one hundred) full points. Term passing score was determined as 60 (sixty).
Student Achievement Assessment (ÖBD) average must be at least 50 (fifty) points.
The achievement evaluation score for SEMESTER 3 is calculated based on the rates of the exams below.
