Course Objective

To interpret and criticize contemporary art forms formally and theoretically; To have an idea about the dynamics of current science.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can interpret and criticize contemporary works of art.
2   Contemporary art and its basic elements; Knows the concepts of artist, buyer and work of art.
3   Gains the awareness of being able to bring up and criticize social problems based on art and design.
4   Criticizes the relationship between art and market and has an idea about current artistic debates.
5   It questions whether the material, structural/formal and conceptual elements are in an effective relationship with each other in contemporary works of art.
