Course Objective

This process; It mainly takes colored painting as its problem, grasps the basic principles of plastic shaping within the logic of visual thinking, and opens up the possibilities of color and paint painting as an expression for discussion; It offers experience in different techniques through compositions on various subject suggestions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the relationship of multiple objects or models with space in linear patterns,
2   Developing anatomical knowledge and aesthetic sensitivity regarding the human form,
3   Experiencing the formation process of a pictorial language through experiments on shaping,
4   Developing the student's observation diary,
5   It is not intended to comprehend the basic principles of plastic forming.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Providing general information about the material and theme content of the studies to be carried out throughout the semester, and examining suitable examples for the studies to be carried out.
2 Preparation: General information is given on oil painting technique and canvas preparation.
3 Pattern work from a live model: Preliminary work on the application process of the composition created on the figure-space-object relationship on canvas with oil painting technique, and creation of drafts.
4 Application of the composition created on the figure-space-object relationship on canvas with oil painting technique.
5 Application of the composition created on the figure-space-object relationship on canvas with oil painting technique.
6 Application of the composition created on the figure-space-object relationship on canvas with oil painting technique.
7 Application of the composition created on the figure-space-object relationship on canvas with oil painting technique.
8 Application: Technical process of canvas preparation, introduction of the required material, primer options
9 Preparations are made for the interior study, the photographs taken by the students are evaluated; General information is given about powder pastel technique and material usage.
