Course Objective

This course aims to create space perception and interpretation skills through various perspective drawing methods in painting and to use these knowledge to create individual artistic expression.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1- To be able to use basic perspective methods and rules as a drawing and pictural design element.
2   2- To be able to use perspective drawing tools and equipment in the context of measurement-scale, ratio-proportion concepts.
3   3- To be able to use various perspective drawing methods to create pictorial space and space.
4   4- To be able to benefit from perspective drawing opportunities to create light and shadow, depth and volume.
5   5- To be able to use the knowledge has acquiredto create an induridue method of expression in the formation of a contemporary artisric language.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1- The lecturer explains the subject of perspective both through relevant examples from the history of painting and through technical linear methods.
2- The student carries out applications related with the equipment he / she acquires.
3- Studies are revieved and further development is achieved through discussions.
4- Topics are reinforced with homework.
