Course Objective

The course aims to examine revenue management practices in tourism businesses. Within the scope of the course, topics such as customer information, consumer behavior, market segmentation, demand forecasting methods, capacity utilization and pricing in hotel businesses and travel agency businesses will be examined within a theoretical framework.

1   To analyze revenue management processes in touristic businesses
2   To explain consumer behavior in touristic businesses in detail
3   To conduct research on the problems encountered in capacity management in touristic businesses.
4   To be able to explain in detail the role of pricing in touristic businesses.
5   To be able to examine demand forecasting methods
