Course Objective

The aim of the course is to enable pre-service teachers to choose the literacy teaching method suitable for the characteristics of the mentally retarded students, to determine the literacy level of the mentally retarded student and to prepare the appropriate curriculum, to examine the tools used in the teaching of literacy to the mentally retarded, to select and/or develop the appropriate tool.
