Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI), to teach how these approaches can be used in the development of children with special needs, and to improve pre-service teachers ability to plan and implement such interventions.

1   Defines and explains the core principles of NDBI approaches.
2   Plans naturalistic environment-based interventions for children with special needs.
3   Implements naturalistic environment-based interventions for children with special needs.
4   Develops individualized intervention programs that include family participation.
