Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of fundamental principles, methods, and tools for assessing individuals with special needs. The course equips students with the knowledge and skills to select, apply, and interpret both formal and informal assessment tools within the processes of screening, diagnosis, placement, IEP development, and progress monitoring. Ethical practices in assessment are also emphasized throughout the course.
