Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce fundamental concepts, diagnostic processes, characteristics, and educational approaches related to learning disabilities and giftedness. The course aims to equip students with scientifically based knowledge and skills for the education of individuals with learning disabilities and those who are gifted.

1   Explains the concepts of learning disabilities and giftedness.
2   Identifies diagnostic processes and tools.
3   Distinguishes the characteristics of these individuals.
4   Plans appropriate educational interventions.
5   Evaluates inclusive education practices.
