Course Objective

The course aims to help individuals working or planning to work in the tourism industry develop their professional English communication skills in an international setting. Students will enhance their language skills specific to the tourism and hospitality sector, establish effective communication with customers, and gain competencies in areas such as tour planning, guiding, and crisis management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Understand and use intermediate-level professional English terminology related to the tourism industry.
2   2. Provide professional-level information to customers and deliver effective feedback.
3   3. Prepare tour programs and present them both in written and spoken forms.
4   4. Develop cultural awareness and communicate effectively with international customers.
5   5. Manage difficult customer situations and develop professional problem-solving skills.
