Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable the student to examine women's health from a holistic perspective using a bio-psycho-socio-cultural approach, to assess women's health needs, and to make appropriate plans in the management of related processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   LO1. Describes the anatomical and physiological structure of the female reproductive system
2   LO2. Explains hygiene practices, counseling, and contraceptive methods for the protection of reproductive health
3   LO3. Analyzes the social, cultural, and economic factors affecting women's health.
4   LO4. Differentiates common gynecological diseases based on their symptoms and diagnostic characteristics.
5   LO5. Conducts case analysis and plans appropriate interventions in line with policies, rights, and service models related to women's health.
