Course Objective |
Conceptual approaches in contemporary clothing fashion will focus on the clothing-body relationship through the social value system and the meaning and functionality of clothing will be examined. Conceptual contents will be examined in the collections of fashion designers and concepts will be created. In this direction, they are expected to reflect their conceptual ideas in innovative design and creative application works with artistic expressions. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Students are directed to research on conceptual approaches in clothing fashion by the instructor, who informs them about the course topics through bibliography. Design sketches are created for their conceptual ideas. During the application process, literature and visual resource research is conducted on techniques and materials, and creative experimental application studies are carried out. |
