Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the foundations of figurative art on both conceptual and technical levels, enabling students to analyze core principles such as observation, proportion, structure, and movement in figure drawing. The course also aims to support students in developing their individual artistic language and deepening their artistic perspective through figure studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyzes the basic anatomical and structural features of figurative art.
2   Applies proportion, balance, and movement in figure drawing.
3   Develops observational figure studies.
4   Establishes connections between traditional and contemporary figure approaches.
5   Develops a critical and aesthetic perspective on figure analysis.
