2   To evaluate the methods, techniques and materials used in Turkish language teaching from a historical perspective.
3   To get to know important figures and their works that contributed to the field of Turkish language teaching.
4   To discuss the social, cultural and political effects in the history of Turkish language teaching.
5   To develop suggestions for modern Turkish language teaching based on historical background.
