Course Objective

The aim of this course is to identify and understand successful language teaching methods used in today s modern world and to adapt them to foreign language instruction in Turkey. It also aims to adopt the methods, techniques, and approaches that have proven effective in foreign language teaching in different countries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Demonstrates knowledge of modern techniques and methods in foreign language didactics.
2   Is able to compare traditional and modern methods in foreign language teaching.
3   Can describe the development of foreign language teaching methodologies from past to present.
4   Possesses in-depth knowledge of effective and contemporary methods in foreign language instruction.
5   Is capable of acquiring newly developed approaches and techniques in foreign language teaching and effectively sharing them with colleagues.
