Course Objective

This course aims to provide students with the ability to conduct textual analysis from a scientific perspective by introducing the basic methods and approaches used in language and literature research. It also aims to ensure that effective methods are applied and research is planned systematically while conducting research in the fields of language and literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the basic methods and theories in language and literature research.
2   Developing skills to apply different research techniques on literary texts.
3   To provide the ability to think critically and analyze in research processes.
4   Ability to conduct scientific research and reporting in accordance with academic writing rules.
5   Developing the ability to establish relationships between texts using methods from different disciplines.
6   Understand ethical responsibilities and issues in language and literature research and act in accordance with these responsibilities.
