Course Objective

The aim is to examine the elements related to education through examples of literary works of Classical Turkish Literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowledge of didactic text types in Classical Turkish Literature.
2   Being able to understand the contribution of didactic texts to education.
3   Being able to understand the main examples of didactic texts in Classical Turkish Literature.
4   Being able to compare didactic texts according to centuries.
5   Being able to understand the educational features of didactic texts in individual and social life.
