Course Objective

The aim of the Education and Training in Nursing course is to train professionals who can effectively plan, implement and evaluate educational processes in the field of nursing and who can analyze educational needs by using appropriate educational methods, tools and materials in these processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the basic approaches, theories and models of educational sciences.
2   To be able to analyze teaching methods for health education and prepare a needs analysis report.
3   To be able to design effective and creative materials suitable for nursing education.
4   To be able to evaluate education methods with a critical approach and to choose the right tools.
5   To be able to design, implement and evaluate the results of a comprehensive education program for health education.

Course Success Grade: 20% mid-term grade (Midterm exam) + 30% final grade + 50% Application Grade (Project and Presentation)

In the exams, decision-making, critical thinking, explanation, classification, and knowledge integration skills will be evaluated.
