Course Objective

The aim is to use the elements of instructional technologies in teaching the Form Tutoring courses and support the development of their functions, significance, and applications within the instructional process particularly in relation to instructional materials such as presentation files, visuals, worksheets, transparencies/overheads, slides, videos, and computer-based course content.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Grasping the developments in the field of education and understanding the role of instructional technologies in the educational process.
2   Identifying the elements of the communication process within the scope of instructional technologies.
3   Comprehending the factors involved in the selection of instructional materials.
4   Understanding the means and principles of visual design and applying these principles in material development.
5   Identifying the advantages and disadvantages of informatics components, media, and materials used for instructional purposes, and using them effectively during implementation.
6   Recognizing the criteria for evaluating instructional materials.
7   Applying design components appropriate to the instructional content in field-specific education.
