Course Objective |
The purpose of this course is to ensure that classroom teacher candidates understand the concepts of fraction, ratio, decimal fraction, pattern, basic geometric shapes, space geometry and measurement at a conceptual level; to support them in analyzing the place, objectives and relationship of these topics in the primary school mathematics curriculum with teaching principles. In addition, it is aimed for teacher candidates to develop pedagogical skills to teach these mathematical contents effectively. |
