Course Objective

This course plans to support counselor candidates within the scope of topics such as nurturing their social support systems and emotional needs, managing stress, and strengthening self-acceptance.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to identify, prevent and solve problems related to self care issues
2   Be able to utilitize self care process as a systematic approach to self care counseling
3   Be able to apply special techniques and appropriate communication skills with patients who may have special need
4   Be aware of moral, ethical and legal responsibilities ans social issues associated with the topic in self care
5   To develop self care skills in counseling
