Course Objective |
The main purpose of this course is to provide primary school mathematics teacher candidates with the skills to plan, implement, record through video and analyze with peer feedback effective teaching strategies for the middle school mathematics curriculum. It is aimed for teacher candidates to evaluate their own teaching practices critically through video recordings, to examine and create different pedagogical approaches (teacher-student interaction, use of materials, different teaching formats, etc.) in depth through video analysis and to develop innovative approaches for effective mathematics teaching. |
