Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop skills of examining and evaluating textbooks, and source book regarding to teaching mathematics.

1   Explain criteria about examining textbooks regarding content area.
2   Comprehend studies of Board of Education about textbooks.
3   Determine the priorities that should be considered while selecting books.
4   Evaluate books regarding content area accurately.
5   Aware of various books regarding content area.

7 Conformity of textbook contents in terms of language, student level and format
8 Course overview, evaluation and midterm examination
9 Conformity of textbook contents in terms of language, student level and format
10 Attractiveness of textbook content, contribution to meaningful learning and ease of use in teaching
11 Examination of the textbook for the 5th grade mathematics
12 Examination of the textbook for the 6th grade mathematics
