Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform prospective mathematics teachers of national mathematics curriculums. To help them gain mastery over the content of 5th-8th grades' curriculums.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To grasp the structure and the content of a curriculum.
2   To identify and examine mathematics curriculum for 1st to 4th grades.
3   To identify and examine mathematics curriculum for 5th-8th grades.
4   Examining the distribution and limits of content in mathematics curriculum for 5th-8th grades.
5   Establishment of middle school mathematics curriculum with primary school and high school mathematics curriculum.

Homework and projects are evaluated in small groups (2-3 people) and other evaluations are carried out individually.
