Course Objective

To be able to learn about statistical concepts, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and distribution, sampling theory, confidence interval, hypothesis tests, analysis of variance, chi-square analysis, correlation and regression and be able to do applied studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1.They will know the measures of central tendency and distribution.
2   2.They will be able to understand the concepts of sampling distributions and confidence intervals and make related calculations.
3   3.They will be able to establish and test statistical hypotheses.
4   4.They will be able to do analysis of variance and chi-square.
5   5.They will be able to make applications on correlation and regression of a given data set.
