Course Objective

The aim of this course is to prepare exercises related to the subject of the course in accordance with the four language skills in German for the ongoing 'German as a Foreign Language' classes, to introduce students to lesson preparation techniques and have them practice these, to develop prospective teachers teaching techniques and their qualifications as teachers, and to teach students how to prepare lessons suitable for different levels by combining the methods and techniques used in the course with lesson materials.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can differentiate between the language levels according to the European Reference Frame.
2   Students can prepare language lessons applying different teaching methods.
3   Students can prepare language lessons for different language levels and different language skills.
4   Students can prepare a detailed lesson plan.
5   Students can evaluate lesson plans and conducted lessons. Reference Frame.

The success of the student is determined by the midterm and final exam grades. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
