Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine and evaluate the general objectives, outcomes, methods, techniques, tools, materials, and instructional practices used in German language teaching by relating them to the field-specific basic concepts

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Uses basic concepts specific to German language teaching.
2   Applies the knowledge gained about instructional materials for the development of German language skills in group work.
3   Applies the knowledge gained about learning objectives, learning activities, forms of work, and material selection for each lesson stage in group work.
4   Applies the knowledge gained about ways of working with texts in group work.
5   Applies the knowledge gained about appropriate techniques for teaching grammar and vocabulary to the target group in group work.
6   Applies the knowledge gained about types of exercises and the lesson stages in which they are used in group work.

The success of the student is determined by the midterm and final exam grades. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
