Course Objective

The aim of this course is for students to learn how to benefit from technology in language teaching and to be able to recognize and use these technologies

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the characteristics of the various teaching technologies and notions related to teaching technology
2   Knowledge of the place and use of teaching technologies in teaching period
3   Knowledge of how to make appropriate technological planning and of how to carry it out
4   Knowledge of delevoping two or three dimensional materials through teaching materials
5   Knowledge of examining educational softwares
6   To be able to evaluate teaching materials which have different characteristics
7   Research knowledge related to internet, distance education and visual design principles
