Course Objective

The aim of this course is to equip prospective teachers with the skills to develop a German language curriculum; and to help them understand the course content, teaching materials, methods and techniques, as well as the evaluation of student achievement.

1   Acquire essential subject knowledge and familiarity with the principles of effective teaching
2   Acquire a range of practical skills for teaching German to adult learners
3   Demonstrate their ability to apply their learning in a real teaching context.

The success of the student is determined by the midterm and final exam grades. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
