Course Objective

To know and to evaluate different text books and teaching materials for different levels of language competence and for different skills, to know and to be able to apply different systems of text book analysis

1   Select teaching materials and text books for specific groups of learners.
2   Analyze different aspects of text books using various criteria.
3   Weigh and judge text books and teaching materials.
4   Analyze and differentiate methods used in text books and teaching materials.
5   Analyze and judge difficulties and limits in the use of text books and teaching materials.

The success of the student is determined by the grade to be obtained from the midterm and final exams of the course. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
