Course Objective

In this course, the pre-service teacher will prepare a lesson plan by choosing a topic from the Computer Curriculum, arrange the learning environment, tools and teaching materials according to this plan, and present this lesson through microteaching applications. The lecturer, the pre-service teacher and other pre-service teachers will evaluate this course offered by the students in terms of their teaching competencies. In addition, subjects such as field-specific applications (remote control systems, laboratory studies, etc.), examination and evaluation of computer laboratory environments, assessment and evaluation (portfolio applications, performance tests, observation forms, etc.) approaches in informatics teaching will be covered in the course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to plan an instructional design related to learning outcome/s in information and communication technologies' curriculum.
2   To be able to realize applications related to the field.
3   To be able to identify the measurement and evaluation methods and techniques used in information and communication technologies education.
4   To be able to present ICT teacher competences.
