Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts, historical development, theoretical foundations, and application areas of open and distance education. It also focuses on the technologies used in distance education, the roles of instructors and learners, management processes, and classroom practices. In addition, the course addresses contemporary trends such as personalized learning environments, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and teacher training practices, enabling students to analyze current challenges in open and distance education and develop effective solutions.
