Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide teacher candidates with theoretical and practical information about using children's games in social studies lessons.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the concept of play. 2   Explain relations between play and social studies education. 3   Give examples about the use of games in social studies class. 4   Develop examples of the use of games in teaching social studies.
