Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide teacher candidates with theoretical and practical information about using children's games in social studies lessons.

1   Explain the concept of play.
2   Explain relations between play and social studies education.
3   Give examples about the use of games in social studies class.
4   Develop examples of the use of games in teaching social studies.
