Course Objective

The aim of this course is teach the students about television, radio, print media, internet etc. to acquire the ability to reach, evaluate, and communicate the messages in the media and gain a critical perspective on the written, visual and audio media.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Realizes his / her things by recognizing the forms of communication.
2   Recognize the mass media.
3   Comprehend the evolution and influences of the media organs in the historical process.
4   Analyze the effects of media on individual and society.
5   Explains how messages (political, economic, cultural etc) given by media organs affect the society and the individual and how these effects are evaluated by the buyers from a critical point of view.
6   Learn the importance of media literacy.
